Building and restoring since 1976

Custom glass. Church windows. Restoration.

Carlos Velasco has done all three since 1976, trained in his father's studio in Cali, Colombia. Tell him which one you need and he will tell you what it costs and how long it takes.

Three kinds of work, one pair of hands

Carlos has done all three since 1976. Pick the one you came for and you will see what it costs and how long it takes before you speak to anybody.

How a commission works

Four steps, the same for a bathroom panel and a sanctuary window. You approve the drawing and the glass before anything is cut.

01Talk it through

Free, no obligation. Bring photos, sketches, a saved folder of ideas, or nothing at all.

Church window showing a robed figure holding a monstrance above stonemasons at work

    Cali, Colombia, 1976.

Carlos started as an apprentice at Casa Velasco, his father's stained glass studio in Cali. He learned it the old way: cutting, leading, soldering, glazing, under people who had done nothing else their whole lives.

He has been at it ever since. Historic church windows brought back from near ruin. New commissions for modern buildings. Work alongside architects, designers, and congregations in several countries.

Every piece still gets drawn, cut, and leaded in the studio before it goes anywhere.

    • 1976. The year he started, at his father's bench.
    • 50 years. Building and restoring, without a gap.
    • Free. Every consultation and every assessment.
